Some feedback on 4.77 rear end
Comments on those that have changed their rears...how much faster? How about top end? Any drivability issues? Fuel economy? Tires break away a lot easier?

with your supercharger that might be a little to much gearing I think the highest you should go is the 4.44 but, even the with 4.30 you'll notice a difference you should ask rt and some of the other superchargered guy's to see if they changed there gears

i haven't heard of any S/C'd owners running different gears (Randy is still NA, right?), but we have a few who're running 4.3/4.444 out there, please share your experience. i know Randy raves about his combo (i think he has the final gear AND tranny gear?)

Hey mingster, mine have been supercharged since last year September.
My Supercharger/Intercooler photo
Yes for those interested I recommend no higher than J's Racing 4.44 spec.
Bogging is seriously reduced and you feel much better how your car takes off without revving. It certainly is more fun how your car accelerate from low-rev better than normal.
Tires do break lot easier. For me it is bit extreme with Spoon wheels/sc combo/final gear.
I do need to change my wheels to heavier as well as wider tires, since I do have some serious issue with traction.
Unfortunately currently there is no fix for the odo/speedo error, which is a definite deciding factor for people not looking into this.
I am not sure about J's Racing's final gear but my 4:3 Jet's Integral Kobe's final gear conversion have been trouble free for 30000+ miles. I would think that you would have no problem with J's Racing Ring/Pinion too as long as a competant mechanic works on your car.

Looks like the top speed in 4th gear with the 4.44s is about 106 or 107, the supercharged guys may want to go with the 4.30 if they are drag racing. The 4.30 allows a top speed in 4th gear of about 111.
