Some maint. for the S
I've aquired a rattle throughout the years and have noticed it would only come around when oil would dwindle...spoke to a fellow owner and he told me when he took a road trip down the east coast to florida from jerz he had the same problem but worse....turns out it was the chain tensioner....was wondering how much a job for that would be....??? Also, I've already had to replace my master cylinder in the past once....now I find that a year later the fluid is cloudy and leaking....wtf right? Would this have long term effects on clutch at all? I bled my clutch at the time and got the cylinder replaced but fear the same job will have to be re done unfortunately. Any feedback appreciated gents.
timing chain tensioner is just over a hundred bucks and 15 minutes to put in. I actually just got one for my car too...it's a matter of when they go bad rather than if.
hardtopguy sells them, but hondaautomotiveparts (Majestic) is cheaper if you order something else too (shipping and handling is kinda high).

put some new fluid in the MC, dirty fluid can cause leakage. I swap mine out every few months just to be safe, mine used to leak when I first got the car but after swapping in new fluid it stopped and I don't let it get dirty anymore, so far so good and mine is 9 years old.
