Could someone with a Helms manual please send me the torque settings, or if availble some info that I will need to change springs and shocks. I will be installing kgmm Dr21 race springs, and Koni shocks. Thanks

First you will need a Strut spring compressor, Branick MST-580A or Model 7200, or equivilant. For stock parts: Torque on the front self locking nut on the damper shaft is 22lbf-ft, Falnge nuts are 36lbf-ft, flange bolt that connects lower arm and the damper 47lbf-ft, castle nut that goes on lower ball joint pin 43-51lbf-ft. Same in the rear. OR you can try the universal German torque spec of "Good-n-tite" . If you are trying this for the first time I suggest you pony up the $66.00 price for the Service Manual that has pictures or just have it done at a local shop and save yourself the frustation. Have fun and enjoy the new ride.

Thanks, for the specs, and I am seriously considering carring it to a shop and let them do it.
Gernby, I have been thinking about getting one, but have not done it yet. I will probably get one soon though
