is something wrong with my s2k?

Default is something wrong with my s2k?

03 s2k with 131000 miles. this morning my s2k started up but died, on the second try it started up and idled fine. temperature was around 30 degrees. what could have caused this?
btw i have no CEL and car seems to be running fine.

30F correct? Sub freezing starts will do that at times. I almost stalled at a really freaking cold start last winter.

If it just got cold recently near you, it may just be the ECU adapting to the change in conditions. If it continues to start and run normally, there should be no need for concern.

Mine did this the other morning when it was freezing. I agree it's just the ECU adapting to the changes.

yea mine has been doing this for a few weeks in buffalo on the cold days, i thought it was pretty normal


starts and runs fine on the second try

Mine has done that a few times. Couple times when really cold and a couple other times when it was really hot out. Definitely sounds like the ecu is learning. If it starts stumbling it is good to let it and not rev so it will learn.

Mine does it. Doesnt need to be below freezing, just cold.
