I was just reading an old note from XViper and his recommendation was not NOT ever use WD40 because it will ultimately dry things out. Go with a silicone spray for lubrication on suspension components.

Your so lucky it was a golf ball I still havent solved mine yet, I know its from the suspension though. I bought a darn $25 socket to see if it was the axle nuts, and that didnt work at all. I'm starting to think maybe it's the rear sway bar bushings or something, but i'm not sure how to diagnose if its them or not. I suppose I just check for play in them?

I'm now certain that the only sound I can hear from the suspension is front driver side

When you checked your axle nuts, you followed the procedure and 'un-staked' them? you bent the indentation on the back out, removed, tightened, and re-staked them?

I'll let you know what I come up with, but I just don't trust anyone in my city to work on my car for me and I'm not as knowledgeable as I'd like to be about suspension.

Yes sir, I un-staked them, removed, then torqued to 220ft lbs. The passenger side didnt budge, and the driver side moved a tiny bit. I re-staked them and drove it, it didnt help at all.
