I'm getting a sound coming from the rear of my 2004 S2K. It is something like a ssshhh sound, like metal rubbing on metal. It gets louder the faster I drive, but the pitch doesn't change. Pushing in the clutch or putting into neutral doesn't have any affect on the sound. It's noticeable at 25 and fairly loud at 45 mph. Any thoughts on what it could be?

It maybe one of the brake backings rubbing on the rotor?? Is the sound rotational and sound like scraping? It would be best to put the car on a lift and turn each wheel and look for something rubbing. If you find nothing then check the drive train for the sound. Good luck

Are you referring to the whorbling/whirring noise? check your axles (the cups) as well as the differential.
