sounds like water

Default sounds like water

i have an odd sounds coming from the front of the car, it sounds like water. i dont know how else to describe it. it only happens when i put load on the car (so as i bring the car to biting point) does anyone know what this could be?

Clogged ac drain. There's water sloshing around in the heater box.

If that's what it is, you can un clog the A/C drain by shooting compressed air in the tube. Also, you better do it quick or it might leak out into your carpet and get it all moldy. You will know it was clogged if you blow air in the A/C drain and water pours out for like 10 seconds.

Under the car. I'm pretty sure it's right next to the exhaust header. It a black tube coming out of the firewall, about big around as a quarter, and it points straight down towards the ground.

You wont see it till you are under the car, Looking up at it.

Use ramps, set the ebrake. This is safe.

you may need to stick a pipe cleaner up the drain tube once you locate it. The tube is right beside the header on the passenger side of the firewall just near the frame.

Check if you have water in the doors, move the doors back and forth and see if water sloshes around. I had that happen on a previous car where the drain holes were plugged with rustproofing spray. There is also common leak point in the rear air vent that can allow water to pool in the floor of the trunk under the spare wheel and trunk cover, if you are hearing the water noise towards the rear of the car.

so i got the car on the ramp and blew air up the drain pipe. made i nice clinical smell in the car but no water rushed out is there anything else it could be?
