Default Space under the front panel assembly

Greetings everyone... Haven't been around the forum for a while but I'm still keeping my S2000. Just not racking up a lot of miles (40K in 7 years...).

Anyway, I decided to install a Defi HUD that I had lying around for a couple of years. But I would like it to be flush with the front panel, so I will need some space underneath. My favourite location is on the left side close to the windscreen. Does anyknow if there is headroom in there for this? It would save me from taking it off just to find out the area is full.

Thanks.
Luis

Luis, it has been a while! I have been wondering if you still have the car. I have mine with about the same low mileage as yours.

You always pick tough mods. The little I know of that HUD unit it appears to need a couple of inches over vertical space over maybe a square foot of area. I doubt there is that much room to spare, but I cannot find any useful references.

Keep us posted if you go forward.

Good to see you're still keeping your S, Chris. I wonder if there are still a lot of early models as ours around...

The Defis HUD is not that big...

I hope it will fit.

Cheers.

The "old-timers" can't be more then 6 years / 9 months old

What does that Defis HUD do?
