Default Spark Plug Curiosity

I need input on whether it would even be worth the trouble to line the open end of the spark plugs with the intake valves? And has anyone done this?

This process is called indexing which has been done for many years in many circles of racing. It was first done because of the way some combustion chambers were designed and it did benefit them. I thinks since our combustion chambers are designed very well already it would probably not benefit us enough to even bother.

I think it was reported that the threading of the head and stock plugs results in properly indexed gaps. Maybe the revised torque spec moves it a few degrees.
