Default Spark Plug sleeve

Hey guys, what holds the spark plug sleeve in place? is it pressed in or bolted?
It looks like one of my plugs is rounded so I'll need to get a vice grip around the plug after I remove the valve cover. Any other sugestions would be appreciated. I may try some lock tite.

Are you sure you're using the right sized 6 point spark plug socket?

Locktite probably won't work if you're planning to try and fuse the socket to the plug. JB Weld might, but I'd be very reluctant to go down that road.

Buy a 5/8 spark plug socket with the rubber piece inside. then take duct tape and tape it between the socket and the extension. this prevents the socket from sticking on the spark plug. good luck

The previous owner had no mechanical ability. I assumed the current plugs
were recall replacements but he probably changed them afterward. It's
hard to mess up a simple job like that. Thanks
