Default stuck plug socket

K so I'm clearly an idiot. The duct tape I used to tape on my extension somehow got loose and the spark plug socket is stuck in the well. Going to try to buy a tool to extract, but until then. If I unscrew the NGK plug and screw it back on, is that ok? Or will I have to buy a new plug. I guess the question is once it is fully seated, if I remove it will that coating be stripped, invalidating the plug?

You can reuse plugs.

You might have to apply some anti-seize lub if you take it out.

I've had good luck with reinserting the extension into the plug and then jiggling as I try to remove the spark plug socket from the spark plug, but not I use locking extensions so it isn't an issue.

Thanks for the link dwight, I was looking at some crazy one from google searches, and locking sets were like 130 bucks or so. 25 dollars is def within my price range!

just push the extension back onto the socket and unscrew the plug, then when all is out re-install the plug you don't have to buy anything

I did the same thing with duct tape.. Remove all the duck tape from the top. And force the socket extension in
