Spark plug and vented hood question
Do I need certain spark plugs if Im gonna have a tuned V-AFC2? Last month I had the OEM NGK ones installed, which were recommended with my applications before the V-AFC2. Lastly, I plan to get a CF vented hood and was wondering if while driving or even sitting still in heavy rain, can that damage anything under my engine bay? Will too much rain leak into my engine bay having vents? And if there is too much leakage, is that bad? Or are all the vents are placed over safe areas in case rain does leak in? I want to get the hood style that comes with the 6 or 8 vents.
The engine is designed to be water proof so the rain shouldn't hurt it.
FWIW, I had an K&N FIPK and the filter sat right underneath 2 vents in my TS vented hood. I've driven through monsoons, let the car sit during monsoons, and never had a single issue with the water. The only real way to damage the engine with water is to SUBMERGE the filter in water not just get it wet.
