they just last longer, they do not give you more hp or torque like they want to think

the heat range of the sparkplug have NOTHING to do with your city's temp.

colder plugs are used with alot of the turbo/supercharged car as well as n2o equiped car.

thanks, yea i just ran a few searches for "cold plug" and F/I issues came up alot. looking at the various plugs out there it seems that although there is little hp to be gained by changing perfectly fine plugs with new plugs +/- a hp or 3, it seems that the plug with a thinner electrode it would produce a cleaner spark, is this correct? i only have 26k miles on my car but im considering changing my plugs out for new ones just out of that reason. what do you think?

Every engine runs just a bit different and the plugs may wear a bit different. Honda meant for those things to be in there for over 100,000 miles. 26K is NOT a lot. What I "think" is that you should ask your plugs. Take them out and examine them. They'll tell you if they should be replaced.

Those plugs are fine. Make sure the gap is ok and forget about it

Unless you have an issue with your car dont worry.

I swapped mine out troubleshooting an issue. Otherwise I would have left them in there.
