Default Sparkplugs Used in Forced Induction Cars

Guys-

Which plugs are you running in your cars? I would be interested in the brand, part number and what type of FI you are running (including boost, intercooler, etc.).

TIA

I'm using NGK Copper V-power plugs on my car. They are the racing plugs, model R5672A-8 (6564). These plugs are one heat range colder then stock. I just bought them at Checker Auto Store...was like $1.50 each plug or something like that.

My car is Vortech SC and it has VAFC, aftercooler, running stock boost on the charger (according to boost gauge it's 6psi), and everything else on the car is stock.

I just pulled the plugs the other day to see if was any detonation going on. The plugs look like they are in perfect condition...I've taken the car to the 1/4 track twice and raced a couple of times on the freeway and street. I use to have Denso Iridium plug in when I was running N/A, but for FI the plugs looked nasty and they were running very hot!

NGK V-power copper spark plugs one heat range colder gapped to 0.035 (part# 7173R5672A-8)

Vortech Supercharger with aftercooler and VAFC, bored throttle body and Mugen Ti exhaust. Stock pulley according to GReddy boost gauge is pushing 7 PSI of boost.

I have a smaller pulley and will probably keep these plugs when I switch to that also(11.5 PSI).

Hey Yellow,
I am running on DensoIK24 and I don't have any problem.
Actually it is Spoon ones but they are same thing right?
I've had twice and they were fine even after very long mileage.

Maybe I should try different plugs to see what I am missing.

My problem is that they appear to be too hot....slightly different than his problem. But is appears that copper is the plug of choice for FI?
