Default SPC install pics and discussion

I went ahead and got the SPC camber kit for my 04.

I started this post back in November.

The stock measurements from the top of the spindle to the top of the a-arm is 1 1/4 in. SPC is 1 7/8 in so there is a 5/8ths difference.

Here are some pics

It seems that those who were unsure where the added height came from, it is certainly below the a-arm.

I'll be at a track day on 5 Apr and I'll let you all know if the change in the suspension geometry has any adverse effects.

Do you have it in backwards? Seems like the offset of the threaded bolt is in the wrong direction. Seems it should be turned around 180* in order to create more negative camber. You want the top of the knuckle to be offset to the inside.

Also, be sure to get an alignment, and at a shop that will work on non-stock setup and specs.

Thanks for the tip...it did look a little less camber than I expected, but still more than stock.

Alignment is next!

Here's a pic of the corrected install.
