Did you do a custom exhaust straight from the downpipe?

Make sure you post your impressions when you're done. The verbose nature of Chris' responses here leave alot to be desired. Just kidding Chris... how's my turbo doing?

What is the line in this pic????
[/B][/QUOTE]
For a $6200 kit and the downpipe doesn't even bolt on to the exhaust, I'm sorta disappointed.
But overall, the kit looks GREAT!
Can you or anyone list the fuel management system they use? Is it like a fuel pump and a
fuel pressure raiser? What brand of fuel pump and FPR? Is the FPR set and tune?
How many psi does it boost when the kit comes stock?

The kit comes set at .3 bar. which I believe equates to 4.2 pounds of boost. Im actually running around untuned like that...and it feels great!!
got my custom exhaust completed today, and it sounds lovely. It truely rumbles..oh man, I wish you guys were to here to hear it.
I dont want to show any pics until its tuned and ready to show off
hopefully good results will come out of this.
oh ..by the way, the FPR is by vortech, and the fuel pump is by holley. By the way, there was no cutting to the downpipe, we ended up building the exhaust off of that, which works fine. And plus, why would you want to bolt on the stock exhaust to that anyways? It would just choke up the turbo majorly.

So what is that line that I quoted in the pic?
Oil return line? Why is it not S/S braided , isn't that really
dangerous?? The reason why I said dangerous is that... the
old convertional way of doing oil feed and oil return on
B-series motors (Integras) was just putting fuel hoses/lines with
some hose clamps from AutoZone store....over time, the lines
start to leak oil and sometimes the line would come off because
of heat/pressure...

As Chris and others stated, Our system was never designed to bolt to the stock exhaust system. The stock system was never designed to accomodate the type of airflow that is generated by 6, 8, or more lbs of boost. So why on earth would I want you to bolt our system up to something that would only hamper performance. Again forgive me it is late and I am tired and a little cranky... but if our system came ready to bolt up to the stock 2 1/4 exhaust system, there would be those who would cry about why our system wasn't set up for a more performance based exhaust... Oh While I am on a roll. We will soon be releasing our 3" mandrel bent Turbo Exhaust System. It will be avaliable in both Stainless Steel or Mild Steel with either Black or Silver Twin Apex-i N1 Turbo Mufflers. and best part it bolts to the Downpipe. Price to be announced.
