Oh, it's such a delightfully slippery slope. Soon, you'll be like Chris, asking for recommendations for a 700hp clutch....

You know... I told myself when I stripped my highly modified Eclipse back to stock so I could trade it in on the S2 that I was doing so I could stay away from mods. I convinced myself that the S was the answer to saving my wallet. I think most of know how that went... especially those of you that have followed in my footsteps. When will we learn... it never ends...

As promised, pics of the Speedcraft full 3" exhaust to complement our turbo kits for the S2K:

This is the 304 stainless option version as fitted to C Bender's beautiful S2000. This model also includes the optional 3" high flow cat.

Close up of fit and weld quality, as well as Apexi N1 mufflers

And as fitted to the vehicle with careful attention to proper alignment of muffler tips in rear valence. In addition to providing almost zero backpressure, this system sounds as good as it looks. No tin can exhaust note here, and the car is a ROCKET.

Looks good.

How much will the exhaust roughly cost? Also...do you have any vids of the sound?

Hey Jaykkub,
The exhaust starts at around 800 for the mild steel version, complete. Like it says in a few of the above posts, it really is unnecessary unless you have the turbo system, and of course that is what it's designed for. Sorry no sound clips, maybe you could call Chris on the phone and he could rev his engine for you. Or call us at the shop tomorrow and we'll let you hear the one we just finished running on the dyno.

Speed-

OneQuick stated ealier that "Putting a 3" on a NA F20C will just lose power. It's overkill." In your opinion, is it true that the S will lose power if a 3" exhaust is added without a turbo? I am not looking to increase power with this addition, but I don't want to lose any either. If I lose, then I will wait. Thanks.

I know you were asking Todd but I'm going to answer anyway... yes you will lose power putting a 3" exhaust on a NA F20c. This is not speculation... it is fact.

Would there be any benefit if you put this exhaust on a supercharged s2k?

Don't know approx. hp... maybe Todd can answer that. It will be VERY NOTICABLE... your car is already lacking in the under 6000 RPM department and a 3" exhaust would make it MUCH worse.
