Here is this guy again (s2000turbo18) claiming big numbers but no dyno sheet. Last thing I had heard about him was that he had created the first charted trip to the moon in his "S-ROCKET" and was taking NSYNC to the moon.

Hey whats up??? I would like to say thank you all for the wonderfull turn out on the S2K turbo kit from Speedcraft Industries. I can tell you guys this we are all working hard on R&D for the S2k to get more power for the dollar. Recently us at Speedcraft recieved a Aem Pro(very nice system) Todd had the S2k base map up and running in about an hour. After altering the fuel map quite a bit we managed to get 337hp on 7.5 psi on a STOCK S2k on pump gas, tuning is the key guys. If you plan to get power out of your S2k please take it to someone that cares about your car, wide band O2 and has alot of knowledge about fuel management system. Heres a free tech pointer, cruising O2 (14.4 to 15.0) under boost(11.5 to 12.2)with wideband 02. Thats where we've made our best power and still maintain excellent fuel consumption alittle better than stock. We are a dealer of a new system on the market Perfect Power which will be installed on a S2k, will post dyno sheets after tuning. I'll post some dyno sheets of my SPEEDCRAFT performance next week, but like I said before were is your dyno sheet. You will get to see my car soon. In the meantime all of us here at the forum loose our sleep every night dreaming of what it must be like to have 308 hp at the wheels like you.

s2000turbo18,
Until you post a dyno you have exactly squat. All you've done is talk... you have yet to back anything up except for the pictures of your 'spare parts' kit. Let's see a dyno.

Bashing the likes of godreau2029 and derryck is foolish. I guess you have never seen godreau2029's car but I guess you will in a magazine someday. Anyone who has seen pics knows it only has the best and most expensive mods available including the SpeedCraft kit, which by the way, will make around 320ish at 8psi without their new AEM tuning part, custom HRE wheels, molded bodywork ect, so dont go bashing one of the 2 or 3 nicest S2K's anywhere. As fas as derryck, he offers a large amount of help and experience and bashing him because he has the SpeedCraft kit and you have a "better" kit is ridiculous and pointless. Post a dynosheet and stop being an a**hole or get off the forum. We compare and talk about mods, not arrogantly brag about them.

Just a question. Does the Speedcraft kit run a boost controller? I am just wondering. Actually the reason I would like to know is because with such a low boost number, 6-8 psi, the intercooler's pressure drop could lower that a bit. I was just wondering if the psi number is what is being regulated by a boost controller?

I only say this because my 300zx twin turbo has dual intercoolers and I run 1 bar... But on the stock ECU it's quite a bit less because it doesnt account for the pressure drop. Turn on my boost controller and it regulates and increases boost to compensate for that pressure drop.

Just curious about the Speedcraft setup since I've never gotten to really inspect it.

Best of luck to you guys on the turbo setups! You're braver than me! I'm scared to boost my engine when I see that price tag on a new one!!!!

Chris

Godreau, he has a nice car. I spoke with him a few times. He seems like one of those guy that will not stop until he's satisfied. I bet you spent a lot of money already. Keep up the good work.

Team Hybrid, I'm disappointed that Dynamic did not work out for you. I known those guys for a long time, Eddie, Neldo, Jeff, Loyd, Satoshi, all good guys. and very knowledgeble. They have tuned another s2 already with the kiwi kit, and also the guy with the Drag kit. I don't know why they are seeing problems with yours. I wish the best of luck. I have faith in Dynamic, they have been around tunning hondas than any lot of other shops out there.

My opinions, opinions only, do not mix me into any flames here. I will not participate.
