Not a ton of stuff for a 10 year old car. Hope you did the clutch and tranny swap at the same time. How many miles? 100k+

That's a little more of an 'ouch' I suppose. You can sell it and get a lower mileage example but then you may go through this all over. Hey, it's only $ who cares anyway.

How about you just find where the leak is...the clutch hydraulic system is small: Master cylinder, line, slave cylinder. You will have fluid coming out of one of the two connections for the line, around the master cylinder above the clutch pedal inside the car, or under the car out of the slave cylinder. You have already done all this other work whats so difficult about simply looking for this leak? It should be blatently obvious if your system is empty and I would suspect its a line connection since it emptied while sitting.

If it makes you feel better the engine threw a rod in mine 3 weeks after I bought it. It dint have the original motor which I found out later. Ended up spending $6000 on a rebuilt motor. Previous owner blew out the original the beat the crap out of a second. Silly me for thinking I was getting a deal on an 03 with 27k miles lol. That was 3 years ago and I still drive her everyday except the winter.
