Check your clutch fluid reservoir(it uses brake fluid). If its low, fill it up and get a new clutch master cylinder. You can install it at home, google the key words and a DIY will show up.

Check your fluid level and make sure there is fluid in the reservoir. If not, check the master cylinder and slave cylinder to see if they're leaking. If that's good then you need to try bleeding your clutch. I would also find the specs for the clutch pedal height and free play and check that as well.

ive only had the car for 6 weeks, just checked the clutch fluid reservoir, completely empty, but there doesnt appear to be any leaking, could it just use some brake fluid? i dont have time to replace it my self tomorrow and dont want to pay 500$ for some one else to do it....

$500? It only takes about 30 mins to do it yourself.. an hour maybe. If it is empty it is obviously leaking somewhere. When the master cylinders go bad they usually leak inside the car. Check your clutch pedal, and directly behind it on the firewall for leakage. If you dont see any leakage there, it may be your slave cylinder leaking, which is even easier to change.

You can keep adding fluid, but if one of the units is bad it will eventually stop working completely and possibly leave you stranded.

It is likely a slow leak at your slave cylinder. I suggest that you fill your reservoir, bleed the line at your slave cylinder, re-top your reservoir and see how long it takes before the level drops.

If it's like mine, you'll have to top it off about once a year. Hardly worth replacing any hardware.

If it is a bad master/slave. They are really easy to replace. I replaced both of mine just to be safe within an hour using instructions found here on s2ki.
