Default spoon bar and brace

I was wondering, can you remove the stock airbox with the strut bar in place?

Also, I noticed the bolts for the X brace do not fit the hole on the four coners of the bar, there is lots of play, is that normal?

sorta. it takes a few nudges but yes, it can be removed easily.

lots of play? did you install it? or are you just putting the bolts into the pieces in front of you? if you haven't installed it, dont worry about the play - it will fit VERY TIGHT.
