Default Spoon differential?

The differential blew this past weekend on the S. The housing was cracked pretty good as well.

Does anyone have any experience or info on the Spoon Differential gear box like the one A&J Racing sells? It has the Spoon 1.5 LSD. They have it in stock, and I need to get the car running as soon as possible. TIA.

My friend was driving the car, getting on the 135 from the Jericho. He did a rather quick 3-4 shift at redline, and BAM. There's about a 5 inch long crack on the housing. I'm pretty sure all the gears inside are gone, even though I could still move the car a little.

I did a search for Spoon differential, and i couldn't find anything either. I'm leaning towards the Spoon because A&J has one in stock, and I can get it pretty soon. Also, I'm looking for something that's already assembled. I heard Comptech can install Rick's gears with their reinforced housing, but I think that's going to take pretty long.

hey man thought i would check out the under hood section today and happened to see your post. i do have the spoon diff w/the 1.5 diff. the thing works great. talk to allen at a&j he's the one who hooks me up. i also added the j's racing 4.77's gears into it. the only thing that i can say is that the lsd makes alot of noise if your ready for it, just be prepaired. well good luck...
