Default Spoon Headers and Heat Shields

From what I've seen the Spoon headers don't come with a custom heat shield. Can anyone tell me if they can use the oem heat shields? I've a right hand drive car, and there is a heatshield for the headers, and another heatshield to protect the brake master cylinder which is on that side of the car.

Oem heatshields cannot be placed on the Spoon header due to the header not having any mounting points welded in place. I suppose custom brackets can be welded onto the header, but the heatshield itself likely would be the wrong shape to fit the new header configuration.

Some have coated their aftermarket headers to reduce heat released into the engine compartment.

Thanks Prolene. Guess I'd have to budget for getting the headers coated as well.
