Spoon Oil and Trans Bolt Question

Default Spoon Oil and Trans Bolt Question

Does anyone know if the longer spoon magnetic bolt goes in the trans or the oil pan.

please let me know

I believe it goes into the tranny drain. Hope that helps.

Either will work in either place. Many have said they have the longer on in the transmission but I have not seen any reason.

I used the longer bolt in the Oil pan.

I recently found this picture on AJ-Racing's site (NA Spoon distrib, and S2KI sponsor!)

AJ Racing - Spoon Engine Parts

It points out the longer bolt going for oil...

thanks guy i had the assumption backwords two. I figured since the you leave the tranny one in longer you need the longer one to pick up ore shaveings. I guess i was wrong

I don't think it would make much difference, but the longer one goes in the oil pan. It says so on the box.
