Default Spoon valves and springs

Has anyone tried these and do they help torque?

Spoon states they allow more air in and just wanted to know if they were worth it?

worth is up to interpretation, simple valves and springs is not going to yield you results. Going with internal parts is a combination of parts and tuning. I haven't heard of anyone just doing valves and springs so I seriously doubt you are going to get a credible answer.

Changing valve springs will allow you to raise your rev limit with an aftermarket computer. I know (not many can say this) that the stock cams will produce power up to 11,000 RPM at least in a boosted situation. I have no reason to believe that the same isn't true for N/A.

Then.. if you go with an aftermarket computer you'd be able to get alot of power with fuel tuning and ignition timing.......

If you aren't going to go all the way, I don't think it would be worth the time and effort.

To my knowledge, they are not released yet.

Going with lighter valves (I'm assuming they're lighter) and improved valve springs (improved in what way? Did they say?) will allow you to raise the rev limit safely (there are more parts to it than this, but it's a start), but with how good the stock valves and valve springs are, what exactly are you hoping to accomplish by replacing them?

I'm with cjb80 on this one, go all the way, or don't even bother with it.

The valvesprings increases mid-range response and high rpm engine stability. The lightweight polished valves are made to increase airflow and improves engine response as well.

just b/c something is adverstised doesn't mean it's in stock or ready to ship. It's the same case with the cams, many merchants show it "for sale" yet none of them have it.
