Default Spring compressor doesn't fit over KW

My spring compressor I have doesnt' fit over the coils of the KW springs. Any one have ideas on how to get the tophat off without killing myself?

Just spin the adjuster down.. No tools required. The KW's springs with the perches all the way down won't have enough pressure to hurt anything when you remove the top spring seats.

I didn't use a spring compressor after I got the OEM spring seats from my original shocks. (which I did use a compressor on)

Ya, I realized I could just spin the perch by hand. Easy, and quick. Thanks guys.
