Spring Install
Hmmm...the coilover install in the library said 'twas not necessary. Suppose I should get a spring compressor before I do it. With my luck I'll end up losing 3 out of 4 of the bolts.

Let the shock set vertically on the floor and use all your weight on the pilo mount, you should see enough thread to put the nut back on. That is the ghetto way but it works. Some springs are too stiff to do so which may require a spring compressor.
If you are not using a spring compressor to take the spring out, another way is to lay the shock body on the floor, put one of your wheel on top of the shock, make sure the inside rim lip is staggered on the pilo mount, stand on your wheel and then blast away the nut free. If you think your wheel is too valuable, you can do this with your spare tire.
This way at least you know pilo mount won't fly off and cut or injure anyone. How far the nut, pilo mount, spring shoot out during the process depend on the spring rate. I assume maybe S2k's spring rate is not very high so it don't shoot far. Generally, front springs shoot the fartherest and also the most dangerous.
Tried to use spring compressor if you can, it's really scary sometimes when the spring shooting out. That's why I bought the snap on wall mount spring compressor.
