Default spring start up

my toys usually sit 6 months before they are used. my past ones didn't have fuel injection or a computer. when i started them up it would take quite a while to fill the carburetor bowls so consequently the oil pump would distribute the oil throughout the engine. the first spring with the s when i started it fired instantly and revved to 2000. my first experience with a modern engine. next spring i went to the local dealer but they couldn't help me out. so it boils down to two things eliminate either the fuel or the spark and it won't start. by doing this is this a problem with the computer and a code? i would have pulled the wire from the coil to the distributor but this engine has coil on plug design and those plugs are way in there. is there a fuse for the fuel pump? i don't think i am being to cautious on this one point just trying to find an easy way to achieve the desired result.

You can also think of it this way: The sooner the engine fires up and revs the quicker the oil preasure will build. With that said, there should be a fuse to cut spark and/or the fuel pump. I would assume there is a map in either the owner's manual or on the backside of the fusebox cover (I haven't looked). Personally, I'm just going to hit the start button and let it build oil preasure quickly by revving.

It will build up enough pressure under the starter motor to get some oil to the moving parts. After several months of sitting still, it's better to get the critical parts lubed before firing up.

I think the fuel pump is separately fused - try removing that one.

Just start it. The wear that you are worried about is trivial. Your only talking about a few seconds before you have oil pressure.
