Talking Springs installed - thanks, and another tip

Installed Espelir ASD springs this weekend. Using the service manual, removal of the fronts were a b*tch! Searching this forum, I found the tip to remove the upper a-arm instead of the ball joint seperation @ the lower a-arm - what a breeze this made the install of the fronts - thanks!

The driver side rear top bolts seem to be a common problem for many. YES, one of the nuts can be a real PITA to R&R. In order to keep from dropping the nut during removal in install, I coated the outside of the nut with silicone sealant before stuffing into the socket - just something to temproarily keep the nut held in the 14mm deep socket. Worked like a charm. $0.02.

Look at the FAQ's in this forum about spring replacement......... Don't follow the service manual. Instead, remove the 2 bolts holding the UPPER a-arm to the chassis............... If you try it the way stated in the service manual, the spring gets bound between the upper a-arm and the inner fender.......... have to muscle it out...... I read the FAQ after removing, knowing there must be a better way........ so for the install, I buttoned up all the I had taken apart with the lower a-arm and removed the upper a-arm........

Before re-torquing the upper A-arms (75 ft-lbs, approx), put a jack under the lower A-arm and put some load on the suspension.

Also, before removing the upper a-arm bolts, remember to disconnect the ABS sensor line from the a-arm...... you will see what I mean... If you don't , you risk the chance of tearing that line.
