Default Spugen Exhaust Install???

What's up guys. Quick question. I wanted to get the spugen exhaust, but I'm still under warranty. How hard would it be to switch the exhaust if I had to bring it in for service? Is it a complicated install? Thanks in advance guys.

After you've done it once, to get it back to stock should take you about 1 - 1.5 hours. The stock exhaust is very heavy. Getting it off is much easier than getting it back on if you are alone. The main part of the job entails undoing the cat bolts (3), undoing the rear cross member under the exhaust pipes and getting those rubber hangers on and off can be a bit tough. You can do the whole thing by having the back end of the car on jack stands.
ps. A cat back system should have no detrimental affect on the warrantee, so I'm not so sure you need to worry about it.

Only thing complicated is getting the catalytic converter bolt off. An impact wrench did the job.

I didn't think it would effect the warranty, but my local Honda dealer told me otherwise. Maybe I should call around and ask other dealers. Thanks Viper.

It will affect your warrenty in one way or another. You'll have to argue a bit more than you'd like to for them to do any work on it.

If you have an exhaust, dealers automatically assume you are out racing and driving the car unecessarily rough. Not so much a warranty applying to the car because of the exhaust itself. It takes a lot longer to take off and put on a stock exhaust than it does to install or uninstall a Spugen.
