I finally got around to pulling the exhaust off and doing the spot weld. After putting it back on and driving around the annoying vibration noise was still there, It seems like its an internal problem with the resonator. Any more suggestions guys?

 

I've had the same problem with my exhaust. I have made good friends at a local muffler shop. Magnaflow has a lifetime warranty on their products. I have recieved a new resonator and I am paying $40 to have it installed.

The internal welds came apart in the original resonator

 

My spugen dual has started making a metal on metal rattling in the past week and i can't seem to locate the problem, maybe i'm experiencing this also.

Just saw this is back up. We can do two things. I can send you another one and you send me the bad one back so that I can claim it with Magnaflow. We have gone over this with Magnaflow about 3 months ago and they promised that this would be resolved but in the meantime, we can do it that way if you wish. Also, send me the bill for the labor at your local shop.

Duc dont worry about the bill...your customer service makes up for it and then some! I will call the shop in a couple weeks when i have a chance to pull the exhaust off. Hats off to Duc and his unbeatable customer service!
