Default Sputtering below vtec

Alright so a few weeks ago I started my car and it sounded like a subaru. Started pulling ignition coils, found one that was dead, replaced. Started the car after the swap, it idled fine and I had to leave for South Carolina. I hadnt actually drove it. Came back tonight, drove it down the road, seemed good, as soon as I got around 4000rpm it started sputtering (like a launch control sound). Any ideas guys? Its late and I just got in from 12 hours of travel, I have no time to diagnose this tonight. Car is stock ECU, just under 140k miles and is a MY00. Cheers guys.

Check plugs, especially the one under the failed coil?

But my first tip - get some rest & approach it on a clear head.

About to pull the plugs, my valve cover gasket seems to be leaking and my oil level is extremely low. I am beginning to worry this is a large issue.
