When running through the top ends of the gears, I am hearing an intermittent "squeak" from (possibly) the tranny??? It's like I can hear the noise from under the car...

Any thoughts? Usually only in 3 to 4 or 4 to 5 at high RPMs....

I have noticed the same noise. When shifting at redline it seems as though my squeak my be a loose belt.

I get this too. I think its the clutch slipping a bit. The tranny would make a grinding sound as we all know.

 

i get it intermittently doing redline shifts. i hope it's just the clutch slipping and not the drivetrain shifting.

 

I get the same thing as well. But I think it actually coming from the engine bay...

 

I'm pretty sure its the clutch. I've had it happen to me only after some hard launches (which heat up the clutch), followed by very fast and hard shifts from 1-2 and 2-3. I think its the release bearing.

I have only heard this once and that was because I didn't bring the clutch all the way out whenever I was shifting and I was still on the gas a little.
