squealing noise from engine

squealing noise from engine

when i drive my 02 s2000 to 2500 to around 3500 rpm's i hear a loud squealing noise. I'm not sure if its one of the belts or what. can someone please help me

I had the same problem just before the main engine belt gave out. Once the belt went, the car overheated and had to be towed to the garage. Luckily cheap to repair.
