Ok... In the process of bringing this S2k back to life, I found the SRS cable reel severed and damaged. So I bought a used reel for 75 bucks but the center wheel has been free to turn. So how do I test or figure out where the center is before I install it on the steering hub?

 

Feel it out gently by turning by hand.

Should go 2 turns left and 2 turn right from center.

You will be able to count it out and center it no problem.
