SRS light on after diff repair and service?
Hi guys,
My diff blew recently, and I had my mechanic replace some of and repair it (OEM parts). They also did a service at the same time.
Now about 1.5 days later my SRS light has come on. From reading the boards, it seems the major cause of this has been people messing around with their steering wheel or replacing seats etc.
I wasn't aware that any of this area would have to be touched in a differential replacement - or for that matter, a service?
Anyone know what could have happened or what I should do? If it's something the mechanic has screwed up, I'd like to take it back to them and put the costs on them, but from reading the forum it seems only the dealer can establish what is causing the SRS malfunction and reset the SRS light.
Any advice would be great.
