Default Stalled, and car wouldn't start

I have a 2003 S2000 with about 15K miles on it.. The other day the girlfriend was driving it and stalled at a traffic light. The car wouldn't start afterwards for about 2 minutes... she was stuck dead at the traffic light..

Pressing the start button did nothing... no crank no anything.

This was not the first time the car wouldnt start, but its the first time after stalling that it would not start. I've experienced the exact same thing before in the morning though where the car wouldn't start.. same symptoms.. no crank no anything..

Any ideas?

did she/you try turning the key to off and then back on to ignition before pressing the start button again?

I'm actually not sure, i'll have to ask.

I can't remember if i did it either the time that the car would not start for me, but i imagine I would since it seems like the next logical thing to do.

Off to on. There are some reports of needing to physically remove the key and inserting it again.
