Default Start car without clutch

Anyone know how to disconnect something so that the car can start without the clutch engaged? I did this to my other car, and would like to do the same.

Crawl under the dash, and look where the clutch sits when it's released. It should then be pretty clear what you need to do.

Why?

What did you do to your last car to make it do that?

I've tried looking, still confused down there... i'll check it again in a little bit.

I am lazy when it comes to starting it up. I just want to stick the key in and hit start... I don't feel like sitting down and pressing in the clutch when it's very cold in the garage.. hehe

At the top of its travel, the clutch depresses a switch. Just remove the switch and tape it up somewhere. Voila, done.

Although to be honest, I don't think this is something you should do.
The first time you try to start the car when it's in gear and you roll into the guy in front of or behind you, you probably won't be too happy.

I believe that the switch at the top of the clutch pedal's travel disengages the cruise control.

There clearly is a switch - couldn't you just pull the connector and short it, so it would always appear closed? You won't have cruidse control anymore I don't think.

I had it taken off of my car, because I had an alarm with remote start installed. So I can start the car without the key, and without depressing the clutch, which as you can guess, I need to leave the car in neutral for it to work.
