Start Up Smoke?

Is it normal for the car to let off a little smoke on cold starts with the use of a testpipe instead of a CAT? My car lets off a hint of white smoke on the initial crank.

All my hondas have done this with a cat.
My first mod on my s2000 was a test pipe.
It would puff smoke when I would first get on it and go!

It's more likely water vapor than smoke. It's normal for all cars once temps get colder.
