Default Stiff Clutch after gravity bleed

I just finished gravity bleeding the clutch master cylinder but now I can't depress the clutch at all. Did I do something wrong. I did file down the tip of the slave and applied grease and unbolted it from the transmission but as far as I can tell there is no air in the system. Was I supposed to bleed the clutch in a certain gear? Any ideas what I did wrong?

My WAG... the master or slave cylinder got over-extended during the bleeding. Preventing movement. May need to remove them, free up the pistons, re-bleed.

Sorry.
