Default Still dealing with 2ndary O2 BS!

Well I have tried about everything short of tracing the wiring and diagnosing things that way. I continue to get the P0157 and P0136 codes. I am really thinking it has to. E one of two things:

1.) I replaced the faulty sensor with an NKG 24287, which looks identical to the Honda sensor, same harness, same sensor, everything, a plug and play replacement. Unless I am missing something this sensor should be a $60 alternative to OEM, but maybe there is a difference I am not seeing? Does anyone have experience with this alternative?

2.) the issue started right after I had my clutch replaced is it possible that a connector was knocked loose or a wire busted near the tranny? Anyone familiar with the wiring have any ideas?

Not sure what to do next, I may try a used sensor off of eBay, there is no way I am paying $200 for a new one at this point

#2 seems very possible. Can you get photo of wiring harness and attachment points on car?

Sensor two does run up and over the tranny so possibility it was pinched or damaged. Also the sensor may look the same but check the specs because they have different ranges of reading. Not sure on that but a possibility.

I swear they actually seem to be the same sensor, either way wouldn't I get a straight O2 code vs the low heater voltage?

You have AP1 or AP2? I believe the O2 sensors are different.

I guess I thought they were the same, but maybe that is my issue then. Maybe I have the wrong sensor.

No, the NGK 24287 O2 sensor seems to be the one for your AP1.

They both appear to be low SIGNAL voltage codes...not heater codes.

Do you have an exhaust leak before the cat?

What codes did you have prior to replacing the sensor?
