Stock Alignment

Default Stock Alignment

What’s the lowest ride height you can go with stock alignment specs? I am trying achieve stock alignment specs with a 1.75 inches drop.
Received an alignment from a shop and they were able to fix the front but weren’t able to fix the rears. Initially, the rear toes were good but after they adjusted the rear camber, they were not able to get the toe back within the spec. They stated that the lower control arm bolt was seized and they weren’t able to get the toe back in spec.

Try a new shop or what I’m trying to get isn’t achievable?

Toe is way more important than camber. If they can only get one right, it should be toe. An alignment shop that doesn't know that isnot a shop you want to go back to.

They said they got the toe right, but it went off when they did the camber. They should have gone back and done the toe properly(note, maybe they did. Can't read printout on my phone).

They also said there was a frozen adjustment. That is not uncommon, and will require a shop (or competent diy) to correct. The old bolt will need to be cut out, and the control arm and the bolt replaced. Not gonna be cheap. Whoever does it needs to grease up the new parts liberally with antiseize so it doesn't rust all over again.

You sure I have to replace the whole control arm? A lot of the guys in s2k talk and tech are telling me to replace the bolt and bushing.

Only replace control arm if it gets damaged removing bolt.

The problem is when you can't get the bolt off. It gets rusted frozen to the inner sleeve of bushing. The only way to get it off is cut the bolt, which then destroys bushing, and arm typically gets damaged.

If arm undamaged, you may be able to press off bushing and replace.
