Default Strange clunking noise

The only recent thing I have done was add a test pipe, as you can hear in the video it sounds like a clunking of gears or something. I went underneath and when the sound is created the test pipe doesn't shake nor does the exhaust. It must be something else, I don't know if its the starter as the car also will not start, neither will it jump start. Not sure what is wrong with it, haven't had much time or room to check it out as I have moved.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

" I went underneath and when the sound is created the test pipe doesn't shake. "

This noise is heard with the car stationery? Or only when it's moving?

" I don't know if it's the starter as the car also will not start, neither will it jump start. "

The starting problems occurred right away the test pipe switch-in?

I'd prolly review all the steps taken in placing the test pipe. The noise has the sound of potential big $$$ fix. At least, the volume in your video is quite noticeable. It does sound like something rubbing or interfering with a part which is rotating.

Good luck!

The noise appears irrelevant to whether or not the car is stationary, it comes when the clutch is depressed.

It's definitely a part interfering with something rotating. Trying to figure out what exactly, if anyone has any recommendations that would be great. When the clutch is depressed the sound goes away, however once I release the clutch the sound appears. As you can hear in the video it sounds like popcorn bursting / something rattling and is quite loud and noticeable.

I'm beginning to ponder whether it is the throw out bearing or the input shaft bearing, if anyone has had to replace these cares to chime in that would be of great help!

BUMP

I would appreciate some input from other members. I even have a video yet there's practically no one chiming in as opposed to other threads. Am I just despised? I sure do give my fair share of input...

Anyways back to the problem, if it disappears when the clutch is engage with the car moving or stationary that leads me to believe that it has to be something with the contact point of the tranny and engine hence it being the clutch. Would this logic or deduction be accurate ? Seems to make sense to me.

Did you replace the clutch's pressure plate recently?

Then, it sounds like there maybe something wrong with the clutch disc. Since, the noise goes away when you engage the clutch. Or the tranny is in neutral (little torque load on disc).

Was the disc replaced?

Just to be sure, did you re-check the secondary O2 sensor was tightened all the way? Can't see the vid right now, but I know that I had a rattle after doing the test pipe and it was just the O2 sensor was loose and knocking on the test pipe (not the sensor itself but the CEL fix adapter and spark plug defouler combination I had).

No, nothing was replaced. The clutch has about 50% of its life left. Nothing has been replaced, anything that was I included in the original post. If it was replaced I would definitely know where to begin or guess at least but thats the odd thing about it. This popped up out of nowhere!

Sorry, I just uploaded it somewhere that was fast and easy. Try using a computer!

I mean I didn't 100% check it but I am most definitely sure that this sound wouldn't go away when the clutch is pressed in. If it was a 02 sensor I would assume the clutch to have nothing to do with it. But I will go under the car later today and check.
