That probably doesn't have anything to do with the test pipe. My car is undrivable for now since yesterday. I sounded somewhat the same but not really like that. My shifter would pop out of gears. So, my problem is either transmission or a slave cylinder since it was leaking. Good luck to you. My suggestion is to check master cylinder and see if its full, and then climb down under your car and see if your slave is leaking. Thats my best advice.
