The same problems were happening with me.. I would suggest either cleaning your sparkplugs and regapping them or "whacking" the map sensor. I had both the problem of rough idle and hesitation during acceleration.. The rough idle was caused by my spark plugs being gapped too small.. I think it was running too rich causing it to foul up.. So i just cleaned the plugs and regapped them and it was fine.

I was just at the drive through starbucks. I had my S in neutral. I revved
the engine to about 2000RPM and it fell to about 200 RPMs and almost stalled but caught itself. I revved again a few more times and it did the same thing. After
driving away from starbucks I tried it again but it wouldn't do it.

Any idea of what is going on? I have 34k miles on my S. Do i need to change the sparkplugs or something?

Stay away from Starbucks.

J/K try tapping on the map sensor and also remove and reinsert it.

Mine exibits the same behavior also. Honda has been working on it for 2 months. Finally, the last time I was in they heard from Tech Line that a new Service Bulletin is being released actually right now (end of Oct.) that describes the same issue and has updated parts. I was told it will have an updated map sensor and a new map sensor mount.

Ask your dealer to check and see if it is out yet.
