Hey fellow s2ki-ers! I am hoping someone a bit more mechanically inclined can help me out! I actually have two problems. The first problem is that after topping off the oil today (I own a 2001 AP1 with 105k miles) I started the car up and it sounded fine. I stalled it accidentally, then when I went to start it back up the car kept clicking and wouldn't turn over. At the same time, the check engine light popped on. I tried again, and it started right up like usual. The check engine light is still there, but the car runs just fine (I actually drove it around despite that maybe not being the brightest idea). Anyone know if my car suffered any damage or what the check engine light may be? The second problem is a chattering I hear when I'm starting from a standstill or coasting (with the car in gear). The car never makes the chattering noise when in neutral. I know it is not the infamous clutch buzz because I've had the buzz since I bought the car. It is louder and sounds more like chatter than buzzing. Anybody know what this might be? Thanks again for reading! I appreciate it.

How low was oil?

 

Hard to tell why the light is on, why not go to Autozone and have the code pulled? They do it for free....

 

Oil was hovering just above the L on the dipstick. I'll check the battery and get the code pulled at autozone! Anybody have any ideas on the chattering noise?
