Default strange noise

My '00 s2000 has developed a squeek. It's noticable when decellerating from 25mph to 0. The noise occurs in and out of gear, foot off the gas. It squeeks when I'm off the brakes and on. The noise goes away when I step on the accelerator. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

While your driving try lighting tapping the clutch. Does the sound go away as soon as you apply slight pressure to the clutch...?

If that is the case it could be your release bearing.

The noise is the same, whether the clutch is in or out. The sounds seems to be coming from rear end.

If the noise is a high pitched, metallic sound check your brake pads for wear.
