Default Strange Smell

Hello,

Just spent the last hour on search for my problem, thats the only reason I would post and ask.

Car seems fine to operation, moves very smoothly and doesnt make any funny noises when stopping and moving off again like it used to with the calieprs seized. Revs cleanly through the rev range.

But after I drive the car, there is a really funny smell, I cannot tell if it is the clutch or a break smell, smells like a mixture of the 2.

Clutch does not slip.

I will check the oil this afternoon to see if ive used an unusual amount of oil when I get back to my car.

I can only smell it when I open the door to get out of the car after a journey, the smell is strong, but doesnt last long enough to go around the car with my nose and find origin of the smell.

Really scratching my head over this one, any ideas would be great.

MY00 with 56000 miles on the clock. Just had its 81k service because of its age not the mileage. It was serviced by the honda monkeys, so anything is possible if you catch my drift.....

Something may be melting on your exhaust (plastic bag, etc.) But if you already had seized brake calipers, that sure sounds suspicious. Are the hubs real hot when you first get out of the car?

No the hubs are all the same temperature, not "seized" hot where they provide alot of radiant heat
