stuck alignment bolt, need to replace bushing?
hey guys,
i had a sideways hit into the curb, swinging clock-wise on my left rear side. That problem is now fixed (got a used control arm, knuckle assembly).
There is a problem with my right rear alingment bolt, because it's stuck. I was told since everything is interconnected, the right side was affected.
I got a new alignment bolt from Honda, but since the bolt is stuck, there is the possibility that the bushing is damaged or will be damaged if they have to torch the bolt out.
Honda doesn't sell the bushing seperately from the lower control arm because it's not meant to be taken apart.
I was thinking of using the old bushing from the left side of my orginal control arm, if it's not too damaged. Paying $500 for a new control arm just for the bushing is just too expensive.
Do any of you guys have any better ideas?
