So i installed a J's intake, and decided to take it out for a spin. Gunned it to about 83k rpm, then let go, then car would not stop revving! Slowed down to a stop, car still kept on red-lining to the max for a good 4-7 times before i turned off the car, and hopefully it didn't hurt the engine . So, i checked gas pedal, floor matt was not in the way, but gas pedal has some free play. Then i checked the throttle cable, lots of freeplay. So what coud be the issue

 

Nevermind figured out the problem. it was this stupid universal intake coupler adapter from autozone that got the throtle plate stuck half way tipwinkd
